As frequent visitors of the website are aware, we'll put our unlocking services on hold temporarily while we finish a back log of orders received in January. To clarify some FAQs that have filled our e-mail inbox, we're going to post them here.
"Can you unlock my iPhone?"
Yes and no. Yes if you have a 1.1.1 iPhone or earlier, or want to unlock your 1.1.2 iPhone with a StealthSIM/NextSIM solution. No if you have a 1.1.3 iPhone - both Out of the Box and accidentally upgraded. Yes - Geohot's method has allowed unlocking. Our services resume on the last week of February.
"Do you sell StealthSIMs or NextSIMs?"
Yes - please contact us for more information. We also can provide an unlocking service for prep your iPhone to install your SIM solution. Again, we are not providing this service until the last week.
"I bought a 1.1.3 iPhone - what can I do?"
Nothing. You can't unlock it at the moment - only downgrade it and use it as an iPod Touch. Follow Geohot's unlocking method.
"I am in Qatar, can you help me unlock my iPhone?"
No. We do not do e-mail support or accept orders from international locations except New Zealand.
"Why have the 3.5mm headphone adapters been out of stock for a while?"
We can't find a decent supplier at the moment - we are still searching around the web for the best prices to pass onto you. Thanks for your patience.
"My iPhone has the message '((Insert Message Here))' - can you fix it?"
Yes - most likely unless your iPhone is on 1.1.3 or upgraded to 1.1.3. Our services resume on the last week of February.
"I haven't received my ((iPhone accessory)) yet - where is it?"
Please wait two weeks before contacting us - We only do mail runs three times a week.
"When's the iPhone coming to Australia?"
March? September? December? 2009? No-one really knows. The delay is due to the carrier negotiations (Telstra/Optus)
"Do you unlock the iPhone with the 1.1.2 hardware open-up-the-iPhone solution?"
No.
Most of the questions we get asked are answered above - feel free to contact us for any other questions (not support) you might have. Thanks again for your patience in waiting for the iPhone service orders to complete - we'll be up and accepting more orders soon!
